When did you realize it doesn't matter what you country you live in for living a good life and that it all depends on you?

I'm really asocial so I can't figure out how to do it. tg is a dealbreaker for me since it requires a phone number to register.
And if I did join I still wouldn't know what to do. Do I just chat up random strangers after joining 500 channels? How would that even work?
My other option is ct, but, as I said, I'm really asocial so the only thing that I can figure out to say is gm and gn. I have nothing funny or interesting to say.
And this place is a total dump. It's nothing but rage baiting that's overflowing from /pol/ and the cynicism that was already here even before the election tourists showed up.
