I keep saying it, but you HAVE to be playing as Frisk again. It's the only thing that explains:
>how Gaster was able to forge a connection to you from HIS end (followed a connection that had already been established before)
>how Kris remembers stuff from Undertale
>how the SOUL was able to turn yellow on its own with no input
>why Kris is so obviously mad at Alphys for something (she's still working with Gaster)
>what Kris said to Susie in https://deltarune.com/the_n3w3st_g1rl_g1rl/ that made her completely 180 on what she says about their mother ("Someone might make you disappear. And she'll finally realize how happy she was without you." "Someone already did.")
