My entire family was dead before I was 18. I was homeless for a bit and now at age 30 I clawed my way out of poverty and have an okay job.

I feel like I'm missing out on life and was hoping to read a book written by someone with advice applicable to my situation. Are there any books written by someone who went through what I went through? I really just don't identify or connect with normal people who have normal thoughts.
