no idea, i never log in for youtube. if they age restrict a video i just don't watch it. the least a creators should do is to mirror his video somewhere if he notices it gets age restricted. he'll get no money anyway.

making it impossible to bypass the age restriction and watch the video while logged out is what soured me the most on youtube.

i mean these bastards used their parent company to be able to tough out 10 years of being unprofitable with 60 fps HD videos that absolutely crushed all competition and made them a (non-definition) monopoly, and now they have the gall to force people to log in under the guise of protecting the children or whatever the fuck, which is just an excuse anyway since everything is selective enforcement. then they build great automated systems that cater to the music industry, absolutely stifling creativity, and they promote and reward adults that act like children, making actual children grow up thinking adults act like that.
youtube can't die off fast enough, but i lament all the videos with no backups that will be lost to history.
