The Sharty raid wasn't actually a raid, it was an excuse to reboot 4chan with machine learning and experimental AI integrated into it. Part of that is using bots to influence poster behaviour. 4chan was always being used to study human behaviour through passive observation but now it's actively being used to monitor and influence human interactions to see how different coercion and behaviour modification techniques work.
