The Chapter 4 prophecies and some of Snowgrave have me ruminating on Susie and Noelle
They're clearly meant to be polar opposites of each other
>Mean girl who was merely acting and has a genuine heart of gold and truly cares about the people she platonically loves
>Nice girl with a weird side that enjoys pain, control and edgy behavior that lets her express her intrusive desires

Noelle in particular is still an anomaly to me considering Carol's implications on Snowgrave about the festival with Kris being an exciting prospect for her all of the sudden
Why is she so powerful? Outside of Dess, why is Carol so domineering in her life? Why is she so good with glitches and secret routes?
The biggest thing, outside suselle being trash, why is it so important to keep Susie away from Noelle? Is one or the other a catalyst that will seal one of their fates?

Then there's Susie who is clearly the protagonist of our story, despite (You) and Kris
Something I've noticed throughout the journey is that everything, and I mean everything, is done with Susie in mind or with her being led on a curated and strictly set path like she's being guided through the story just the same as us
Ralsei puts a massive emphasis on keeping Susie under control and making sure she's happy
I have 2 worries
>Susie is a sacrifice in the place of Dess or Noelle
>Susie will unwittingly be betrayed along with us to end the story
Keeping her on the straight and narrow is clearly deliberate
I feel as though Kris and Ralsei fear her going independent just as much as they fear (You) leaving the cage, Kris

I'm not ready anons, as much as I want to proceed with Noelle I really don't want to kill Susie. She is my friend. :(
