I know exactly how you feel, anon. I remember being completely distraught with the reality that I'll never be able to enjoy the small and big things in life after experiencing much mental and physical trauma for years. But let me tell you something that is very much true and important, and that is that nothing in life is ever truly set in stone for people, for better or for worse. And with time, effort, and healing, anybody can overcome the suffering they had to endure in their life and ultimately become happier and newly-transformed into a better, more authentic versions of themselves after they were able to overcome their trauma and learn to live and love things again in their own precious lives.
Just know that our consciousness, and by extension our own lives, is the most fundamentally important thing in all of existence. That is something that can never be truly taken away from us, it is the the truth and the reality and we experience as we live. And if consciousness is all that matters to existence itself, then that means your life is what ultimately matters as well. I hope, wish, and pray that you will learn to overcome your own trauma one day, and to be able to live in peace and happiness with the person you were truly meant to be. Godspeed, anon, I wish you the best of luck, and please take care and stay safe out there. Thank you.

Don't let life grab you by the balls and turn you negative and jaded, instead grab life by the balls and squeeze it with the divine retribution afforded to you through you trials and tribulations, and ultimately become the better and more happier person you were meant to be.
