05 July: Unemployment report - we are currently at 4.17% on the 3-mo moving avg with a threshold of 4.20% to trigger the "Sahm rule" - a strong recession indicator

31 July: Advance Q2 2025 GDP data would confirm a "technical recession" if negative.

We have already blown past other very strong recession indicators months ago (yield curve inversion etc).
As always, "nothing ever happens".
