Jason routinely gets beat by people with rudimentary planning skills. He would have a really hard time going up against Saw's iconic villain.

The show really is a pale imitation of what it used to be. It's like they haven't grown at all in the last 10 years. They've just gotten money and gotten lazy by exploiting cheap and lazy avenues, and the "ethos" of the show and the gang is just fucked now. Not only is it bad content on its own, it makes the old good content much worse.
