So Sonic has no free will since he's always being controlled by humans?

>He sleeps in nature
I'm sure the bugs and the back pain aren't a problem, sure.
>Rings are debatably canon, and he just picks those things up everywhere.
This has to be the dumbest windfag cope I've ever seen. Kudos to you.

Excuse me, is it not his choice to follow the honor? And if you stop him from following it, are you not limiting his freedom?

He's not OOC, I'll just copypaste what I said earlier cause I don't got time to repeat myself.
"OOC" would be if I made Sonic go through a situation that is similar or at least analogous to another situation he's been through, but make him act differently for the sake of the plot. That's me making Sonic inconsistent.
However, if I make Sonic go through something he has never gone through before (making it so the narrative punishes him for his actions instead of rewarding him), and he changes to adapt to this new status quo, then that's not really OOC. Sonic was always supposed to be insecure, it's just that the circumstances were never primed for that to happen. Calling him OOC for that is like saying it would be OOC for Sonic to cry when Tails dies, even though one of his close friends never died for you to even know that.

Yeah, that's why I said "nearly". Maybe read next time. Btw, that's all plot shit and it never comes up in any significant way for the characters.
