The game's marketing is a mess because they've fragmented everything into dev diaries and paywalled articles. There is no coherent piece of marketing material explaining the game, and I'm really not sure why beyond the rather obvious fact that the game didn't gel together until relatively recently, now they're hoping to optimize their ad spend in the last 2-3 months.
