I honestly feel like Death Stranding is closer in tone to MGR than other Metal Gear games. It gets so crazy and silly. You can see just how much DS2 leans into it.

I did not care for Higgs in 1 because I wanted him to be a more toned down intimidating villain, instead he was something in-between. 2 seems to go full blown into the cheese factor and that's so much better
