In case you haven't paid attention, companies have been foregoing fiduciary duties and customer benefit for over a decade. The Government doesn't respect them the same as the centuries old relationship with the motion picture industry and loves blaming games for anything from school shootings to male unemployment to women not entering stem cause of sexism.
Maybe it's time for gamers to point out Video game companies horrible behavior and use the incentive of MASSIVE FINES TO A HIGHLY PROFITABLE INDUSTRY to force the governments hand into bitch slapping these faggot companies into acting right.
Why stop here? Videogames data collection on children is already violating a ton of EU and US data privacy laws. Maybe its time we let those governments know they have giant free money fines they can use against an industry they don't respect...
