I fell asleep while watching YoshiP at the anime expo go on and on about what "inspired" him. He has some of the most generic, basic taste imaginable.
Now having said that I do think he's hint at a potential future storyline with how he focused so heavily on Chris Nolan movies and also listing the Matrix movies reloaded and revolutions as his inspirations.
There is something there I can feel it in the air, he's leaving hints, clues as to the next storyline.
