I'm not sure fandom even really exists anymore. Not real ones anyways. Oh people will ride the wave. There will be hype. You'll get thousands of images of fanart while it's trending and poor impulse people will go even further. But then it just ends and the fandom dies down. Nobody's really still INTO something when it's finished. The curtain falls and it's off to the next big fad. And that's what these all are. Not fandoms. Faddoms.

Who is even working at Capcom at this point? All the top noch artist they once had have been either poached by the Pokemon TCG or went freelancer and anybody could comm them…if they can spare a few hundreds.

Okay you've freed the slaves. Now what? The economy has been altered drastically over night. This will lead to a massive increase in prices across the board. Nobody can afford shit anymore because the new prices. Non slave industry isn't going to increase wages because their own income isn't going to increase. Further where are the slaves going now? Do they have land of their own? Do they know how to interact with greater society? Who is going to look after them? You're basically setting domesticated animals into the wild with no way to guarantee their survival.
