DEI is a neolib butcher solution to a perceived "issue" on the same vein of affirmative action: you see a disproportion of demographic in a specific field so you put a barrier to adjust the distribution over time. This is thought having a nebulous concept of "free market regulating itself" in mind however in reality doesn't fucking work because ignores reality: there aren't enough "diverse" elements to fill the required quota and never will be because there's no driving force to make this happen exactly because of quota practices (that in order to be fulfilled they need to lower the bar over and over again in time). In short is peak self-destructive boomerism at work, no amount of "b-but the real intent was [thing]" can change that you fucking retard.
