Bonding over their love of Sonic, banter over what Amy's working on, Amy using Tails as a springboard for venting since he's a good listener, Amy coming to Tails for help with something she needs an invention of his for, Amy helping Tails overcome his fears to press on during an adventure, Amy's emotional perspective and Tails' technical insight playing off each other and leading to them seeing the points in each other's approaches and viewpoints.
>Rivalry
Bickering over who is Sonic's #1 (bitch) fan. Tails being dismissive of Amy's crush on Sonic, Amy tearing into Tails for being such a boy and a cheater (at games, not romantically), competing in racing competitions (see: Sonic Drift), and generally pushing each other's buttons.
>Positive Romantic
Cuddling, bonding over trying out new foods together, going to Arcades and trying new games (Amy would love games where she gets to use her strength, like Hedgehog Hammer or other similar whack-a-mole esque games. While Tails would love more technical computer games. They would both love beat em ups since it'd give Amy an outlet for her temper in the digital realm and it's a video game for Tails where he gets to work alongside Amy), traveling together and sharing new sights, kissing, Tails trying to kiss Amy while he's flying to compensate for being a tad shorter than her.

Forced proximity due to both being close to Sonic, Amy and Tails going out on dates with each other to cope with Sonic neglecting them, Amy taking her anger out on Tails, Tails being inconsiderate of Amy's feelings and focusing on his own desires and his own problems, Tails being a doormat for Amy abusing him, and generally just a toxic situationship all around.
