have you ever considered that "gamers" are actually playing games instead of talking on reddit and instagram? have you considered that there is a very large blindspot from your biased perspective? have you considered that it just makes sense that there is a larger portion of people playing old games when the amount of older games outnumber newer games, have more time to have been discussed and shilled to reluctant buyers, that older games often have lower system requirements and are cheaper, as well as a myriad of other things that contribute to why people might play older games more despite you hearing less about people playing them?
have you also considered that

>out of 100 people, 92 play 92 different old games but have no one to discuss it with because it has already been discussed ad nauseum OR there are no other people currently playing/caring about the thing they are playing

nothing about the characterization was "raped". it makes total sense that paramedic and sigint and zero all become villains. they were a small team that were aware of the philosopher's legacy. why would they even be allowed to live if they WEREN'T in on it all?

i like the style and the music that tells the story seems great. but the combat looks bland and traversal looks like a shitty rehash of nu-tomb raider/uncharted climbing sections. if i ever get a free key i will give it a go, but otherwise will not go out of my way for it.
