PS2 games usually look better than Gamecube by a significant degree (which has too many dry, flat looking games.) PS2 is full of beautiful particle effects that wouldn't even come close to being surpassed until GPU particles went mainstream two generations later, and even then tanked with transparency effects the PS2 powered through at 60fps.

That's one of the things that would make the game unique though. In fact the more I start to think about it the more I start to realize that there is a pretty solid frame work for a super man game that uses flight as a central mechanic already. You ever play Zone of thee Enders? Robot game. All of it in zero g. You use Triangle and X to control your vertical axis, can dash and boost around, swap between various powers and abilities and is rad as hell.
