Angels were made to be the cops, teachers, and doctors. They are superior to civilians in every way, yet they validate their entire existence by the well-being of civilians.
What happens to us would reflect their performance and if we are not there, their existence is meaningless

This is why God was so eager to rescue us - all of creation was designed for mankind like a man building a house and employing maids, in preparation for his children.
