this is it. this is, at least for me, Ito's scariest story, it's the only one that actually freaks me out.
All other ito's monsters and events feel like things that are either comparatively small or things i can see humanity eventually growing accustomed to.
There is no escape from Remina. you, your friends, your family, your race, your entire history, everything will be wiped out and nothing will remain. it's like the heat death of the universe on speed up in terms of sheer existential dread
