Just got out of seeing this from the Amazon Prime early screening—did anyone else feel like the plot was a bit janky? The characters seemed really static, with minimal arcs that just moved from point A to B. It felt like the film tried to cram in as much as possible, relying on familiar faces to appeal to those who didn’t like Snyder’s take on the character.

While I don’t agree with everything Snyder did, I would’ve preferred a more sincere portrayal of the characters and their motivations. Superman Returns, for all its flaws, at least made an effort to convey some emotional depth when Singer directed it.
