Modern 4chan isn't user moderated at all and the moderation is very heavy handed, they just defend shit that is detrimental to the board's original culture (as this entire thread is pointing out) while actively nuking on topic videogame threads constantly.
We used to be able to bombard dogshit threads into oblivion and now you get banned for doing it while said thread stays up forever.

Because the jannies are complete fucking faggots that don't belong here and half of these threads are made by them. You get a 3 day timeout for reporting them now for "inciting a flamewar".
Every board on post-Hiro 4chan is basically a fiefdom run by the local broom holding lord who bans things at a whim, regardless of the rules.
It's insane to me that even after the hack exposed how horrible the staff is these days they did absolutely nothing to amend it and instead doubled down on their dicksucking faggotry.
