You cannot say "if I didn't shoot those fliers" it would have been a good group.
If you shot 2 handed, you'd probably shoot one hole groups in slow fire easily at 7 yards with a SA trigger on a revolver, as long as your fundamentals are down. .44~.45 makes it a little easier than 9mm. Shooting one handed, cocking the hammer, isn't good for self defense. You have to break shooting grip to cock the hammer, at the pace you were shooting at, I could shoot 4-6 rounds inbetween two shots. Every "combat" revolver school of thought is DA shooting, trying to cock the is seen as a hammer is a liability.
