Obviously I was more refering to laning against a superior player. If a smurf farms your teammates and oneshots you 15 mins later, there's not much to learn...
But even then, if you watch the replay you can still understand how that smurf managed to get their lead and snowball the game off of it, it's not without merit.

It's also something I don't get, why don't more people just use onetrick.gg and then watch those players' replay directly in the game client.
I have no idea why they removed that feature from a decade ago where you had high elo matches restreamed directly in the client, but the option is still there, just a bit more hidden.
