You think this hasn't come up time and time again in meetings? "Let's reboot Sonic?" SA1 was a soft-reboot that established a unified vision of Sonic instead of just letting each branch do whatever. Son06 was supposed to be the next soft-reboot that evolved the tone further, but it failed. Boom was supposed to be a hard-reboot that would've eventually phased out "Legacy" Sonic, but it failed. Archie did its own reboot for reasons, but that did little to prolong the inevitable. The brand unification with IDW and Prime being "Game" media (except not really) is because reboots, more often than not, don't work with Sonic. If there's another reboot, you can bet it'd mainly be incorporating the Paramount universe.

I played Colors on Wii and I always thought it was overrated. I unironically had more fun with Wii Unleashed. DS Colors is surprisingly pretty decent, though. Was it supposed to be the third Rush game that got screwed over by Sega deciding to tie mainline handheld games into mainline console?
