Kris obviously called Carol, who unexpectedly shows up a few minutes later with no other explanation, immediately moves to take the guitar off Susie (unlike Asgore who does nothing to prevent Susie from looking at it), and is not at all surprised to see Kris at her house despite Kris not regularly visiting for years
Asgore himself is looking for the Holidays' code while he's cleaning their house. That's why he says "I've got to go look again" and moves from the bathroom to Carol and Rudy's bedroom, and why he reacts when Susie mentions a code after Carol kicks everyone out.

Asgore is so large (wide) that he might not even fit through those doorways. The Knight is as thin as a rail.
