Why would the Knight not be Asgore? People think it's Dess or Kris, but why not him? The first person you see when Kris calls for help is Asgore. He is also a large person which seems to be a notable point about certain spots in the rooms Dark Worlds are created. So why does nobody point fingers at him?

There's all the Dess related foreshadowing in chapter 3, which is the knight where it appears. Including Raise Up Your Bat being a song all about Dess, only for the Knight to later show up with a conspicuously bat shaped weapon. Dess is left handed, just like the knight.
