You don't need to reinvent the wheel to make a great game
And besides, the bullet hell style gameplay and the ACT system are two of the most interesting things I've seen in a turn-based RPG. Wish JRPGs had UT/DR's style of gameplay, since it would've made the bosses and enemies more memorable.
