Maybe this has been discussed before, but I was thinking about the prophecy.
What if Susie not only isn't the girl in the prophecy, but is perhaps supposed to be a villain?
Think about it. One of the core themes of Deltarune is destiny, prophecy, determinism, and then those that try to break out of it. All the secret bosses are obsessed with freedom and breaking away from set paths, while Ralsei knows everything that will happen because of the prophecy that must be followed. Meanwhile, Susie's whole schtick is that she felt obligated to be the "bad girl" no one likes, as if that was her destiny, and all the adventures she's had now have included her breaking out of this deterministic destiny to instead do what she wants to. It's also why Gerson focuses so hard on teaching her that the prophecy doesn't matter - the final panel somehow indicates that she's still supposed to be bad. This also then makes it interesting that Ralsei regularly talks about how nice she is, and tries to shield her from reading about the prophecy, all while Ch.4. has so many moments wherein she talks about how great it is to be part of the prophecy.

He's the best chapter boss so far, but that's not a high bar to be honest. Might be the game's most consistent weakness so far. King and Queen are both overshadowed by their secret bosses, King is forgettable, Queen has some good jokes but the serious side of her character feels like it get the short end of the stick to give her more time to be funny, and then Chapter 4 doesn't really have a boss in that same sense seeing as the Knight feels like more of an overarching antagonist rather than a Chapter 4 specific one and the Titan doesn't have any character at all. Tenna is both funny and gets the serious stuff down better than Queen.

Not what he said. Your stats get reset every chapter, so there's literally no reason to get stronger. Fighting is always slower than sparing even when you min-max weapons and armor to maximise Rude Busters. The RPG part of this RPG is terribly balanced, which is why forced fights like the Titan forcibly up your damage close to 1000, because if you weren't grinding for stats anyway, you'd be doing pitiful damage, and Toby doesn't want pacifist players to be stuck with a painfully slow battle (ironic)

Fighting being slower isn't bad by any means, its a more engaging way to actually interact with the system and do bullet dodging and more, and the only reason I even ACT is often because some stuff is indeed balanced like shit. i think chapter 4 works better as more linear than 3 cause you're not stuck in that "gaming room" the whole time
it would have worked better if the group was moving from set to set, channel to channel, rather than just tenna's game show, which i know could have worked because they do that once the group escape tenna and the chapter opens up.
