I think it's really cool that dark worlds will often work more with turning abstract ideas into "people" than it will actually transform them, like chapter 1 has the royalty of each card suit as its own person but it has fifty billion Jack characters from Kanotynes' card designs running around as representatives of hearts/spaces/diamonds and only one Jack for spades (Lancer), and even then Lancer's real-world item is depicted as an Ace of Spaces. Or completely abstract ideas like viruses, advertisements and mouse cursors in the Cyber World, or Lanino and Elnina representing weathercasters and a weather channel in chapter 3, things the library computers and TV aren't currently depicting and who knows when they last did, but they have at one point and that imprint is being cast into the dark world.
