Reposting what an anon that replayed Chapter 2 noticed
>we learned from Berdly that Dess' disappearance was so traumatic to Noelle that she couldn't even do spelling bees
>earlier on, during the section where Kris scouts Noelle, she comments on every puzzle
>with the exception of the last when together with Kris where she has to spell out DECEMBER
>Noelle manages to do so due to Kris being by her side as she felt safer and is reconciling with him
>able to face part of her trauma and even managing to speak from shared bittersweet childhood memories
>it's why Kris even sees her as little Noelle at one point on vulnerability
>Kris manages to make her see past the trauma
