Can someone explain how people think this looks like Noelle when it looks just like Susie looking up? Also it clearly doesn't have antlers? Yes I'm aware Noelle can equip a sword or two you get after chapter 2, but that's dubiously canon given that it's impossible to do so in normal gameplay

Its implied in almost every chapter that there is something wrong with kris hand. Hand imagery shows almost everywhere, and looking through shard reveals that kris has no hand.
Based on egg dialogue from chapter 3 and 4 we know that copies are monochrome, and only orginals have colors, and that one of kris hands actualy is grey in creases of his fingers, and there is nothing he can do to remove it.
So for sure something already happened to his hand, otherwise why is it visibly gray?
The don't remember all the details, but theory goes that he lost the hand during the same event during which dess vanished, and he had goner (goner like undertale gaster followers, which are gray ) hand ever since. it looks normal because kris hides it by painting it, but paint wears off in creases because they experience most friction.

egg dialogue in chapter 4. First he tries to draw what he saw in the forest, which ends up being monochrome smudge (the kid is seriously traumatized about whatever he saw there), then he washes off the graphite, but can't was the gray from his hand, and based on phasing its nothing new.

FF3 gave Dark Knights katanas as a weapon-type capable of dealing with splitting enemies (slimes, etc) but that was way back when pretty much all series conventions weren't even figured out just yet. We can't say for sure until the full games out, but they really seem to be pushing for this idea that Carol was not nice to Dess and as such wouldn't want her dating Asriel (she wasn't friends with the Dreemurr's, her husband was.
