I feel all these post saying that the prophecy has already been broken miss the point. The prophecy hasn't been broken yet, everything is going according to plan and how it was predicted. It would be extremely stupid for the game to constantly hammer the point that it cannot be avoided outside of the freedom provided by the weird route only to then reveal that the actual prophecy was broken before the game even began.
Sure, things are worded ambiguously so they can abused later but it doesn't mean that for example "the vessel was the actual first hero and not Kris" so it's already off the rails.
