If you're new you can try getting Encore besides Verina from Standard, both together with lupa will make a team capable of competing basically any content including endgame. You can also go for changli on your 1.x starter banner (instead of shorekeeper, the strongest 1.x character), and possibly brant next patch for the full meta team.

But in general if the character is fusion (fire) they work with lupa (which might include galbrena as well).
