A way to hinder the enemy with laws is to make them unsupportive of certain types of magic, making those cost more, less effective, and more difficult to use. For example, arranging laws in such a way that matter is impossible to form and be maintained naturally would interfere with flora, frost, sacrifice, earth, etc. and cause constant damage to anything composed of matter (magical things—non-magical matter would immediately have unraveled). Some types of magic may be outright impossible, such as rituals that rely on the environment, at least without bypassing the domain and connecting to the outside world.
Examples of advanced applications (adept, master, specialist, respectively) of the domain: changing the default passive chaos to another, more deliberate, setting (which may still seem chaotic, intentionally or not); the establishment of a new natural order to distort the world to the extent that it seems to have become another, possibly unrecognizably foreign, world; and rapidly partitioning, adjusting, and switching natural orders.
Used in conjunction with my schools of magic, I have supreme control of the battlefield.
