Hey anon, do you know the term "Denpa" means "electromagnetic/radio waves?". It originated from a serial killer pleading insanity by claiming he was receiving "electromagnetic wave" signals instructing him to kill people.
Denpa became a term used to describe the feeling of losing your grasp on reality and going insane. It became a popular type of horror subgenre, some examples include Sayooshi, SubaHibi, Totono and Saya no Uta. In more modern context, Needy Streamer Overload and the Milk Insice/Outside series can be considered Denpa games.
Toby Fox's OST takes a lot of inspiration from Denpa music, such as unconventional time signatures, catchy melodies and general feeling of chaos. He usually collabs with popular Denpa-kei composer Camellia. So, what I'm saying is he's DEFINITELY familiar with what Denpa is and now's your turn to look deeper into this and go crazy.

The thing I don't get is, streamers can just hire more moderators that snipe down backseating comments. I've seen smaller streamers with active chats being effective at enforcing a no-backseating rule. You wanna discourage shitters? Fucking BAN THEM.

I feel like people who think nothing much happened in ch3 are actual readlets because Tenna is a living embodiment of Kris's family trauma. From crying about parents fighting to believing nobody actually likes him.
Kris is like, literally autistic and is aware others find them weird/unpleasant but doesn't understand what causes that, or how to change to be more likeable. They look at superficial things like "oh I'm a human and don't have horns, maybe if I had horns people won't treat me so differently" and then cried about not having horns.
Tenna mirrors Kris's fears of everyone eventually leaving because they think nobody actually cares about them. They want the games to continue because it's an excuse for the gang to stay together. They (maybe)want to kidnap Toriel because it's better if she stays asleep permanently than to "wake up" one day and also leave Kris.
Seeing Tenna go full BPD after the 2nd round is horrendous for Kris, because that's what they fear being seen as.
It's probably why Kris is so distraught when Toriel is all happily dancing with Sans. she's moving on from her past, moving on from the old family, there's a legitimate fear that she'll move on from KRIS too.
