Based friend.
Btw, Knuckles should be stronger than Sonic since he's more likely to train and get stronger.

>Sonic lives in a whimsical world where he's superabled to do whatever he wants
Good. Now that you've accepted the descriptive portion of my argument, I'll follow this up by saying that, because Sonic's world operates differently than ours on a fundamental level, that means that Sonic cannot be inspirational because none of the messages he spouts would be able to apply in our world.
If Sonic is cool and his life works because Sonic's world operates that way, then you cannot take any lessons from him or apply any of his advice to real life because they won't work in our world. Sonic isn't cool and awesome because of the way he acts; he is because his world allows his way of acting to be cool and awesome.
Furthermore, there isn't even any motivation you can get from Sonic achieving high feats because, again, that's only possible due to the convenient world he lives in.
Thus, Windnic is not inspirational and can never be. Simple as.
>You implying he would go insane is just you putting yourself in your shoes but you're not him. He's not like a normal person on the inside.
Did you not read my post? I said I was applying the human nature that everybody (Not just me) has, where we don't simply "Not lose hope no matter what", where working hard and going against our selfish nature is stressful and causes all sorts of bad baddy feelings. And I'm doing this because that is also part of the convenient rules of Sonic's world.
I think that just this transition from his convenient nature to ours would do severe mental damage to him.

Again, and I'll ask you to actually re-read the original post this time, I'm making it so Sonic shares the human nature of disliking doing hard things. Do you understand that? How many times do I have to repeat myself?

>When a series can't stay consistent, they're giving you license to pick and choose what you like as canon
That's exactly what I think. This franchise has no "canon", and the only people who think it does are windfags and shipfags.
Really, you should be on my side, not Sparky's.

>How does losing his friend make him insecure?
The part where wasn't good enough, which is so unbelievable to him that he even states "I can't believe I wasn't good enough!". I dunno, sounds like some self-doubt that could lead to self-reflection. Maybe this could lead him to training so he can be faster to prevent this from happening again.

>Is the only good Sonic writing to you just "Freedom = Bad"?
I WILL ignore you until you stop strawmanning my positions, Sparky.
>The actual basis of what you want is to take Sonic and throw him in a narrative that is directly thematically opposed to his world view and way of life
Yes, this is correct. This is how every character development works.
>Artificially changing who Sonic is just to make your story work is never the right way to go.
Why? You haven't demonstrated that. Nor have you demonstrated how it's "artificial" (Whatever that means). This is literally how every character development is done.
There are no inherent "flaws" or "good traits". It's all dependent on what narrative the writer wants to create. The development happens when the character adapts to a narrative/circumstances they've never faced before. Just because it's a flaw in the current narrative doesn't mean it was one in the previous one. Maybe the way they were acting was working fine for them, and then it just stopped working because the circumstances changed.

The only thing Sonic hates is responsibility and building something for himself.
That blue bitch really needed a father figure to teach him what's what.
