The moment i stopped treating it like Patapon 4 and started to actually enjoy throwing my cobuns into the meatgrinder it immediately clicked into fun mode for me. There was also the matter of me forgetting about the forge and doing like 12 runs with starter weaponry, resulting in steamrolling the shit out of everyone once i realized i could do that and made stronk swords.

Overall, It certainly feels more fun than 3 for me. Not a high bar, but i've replayed 2 start to finish like 20 times already and i want something new.

i played the entire demo forgetting that i could forge weapons until the end1
I am shocked just how much the difficulty curve goes down once you melt all your gray swords into a good lance

Huh? You mean the advanced controls? I thought they were the same as default, just 4 beats instead of 3. Honestly wish there was an option to ditch the measure and just make it work like in the original games, with interrupts and shit.

You can calibrate the game on the title screen in the settings, if i got you right

Funnily enough that was shown in the concept art and we know that they should have special skills, like Keroronpa calling an airstrike, i think. Probably demo things again.
