I have ZERO power over the world and its events. I can express some opinions online, to let out some steam, but it is really just a waste of time. I am talking either to people who already agree with me, and who just like me have ZERO power to change anything, or to people who are too stupid, too ignorant, or too COWARD to even LISTEN to what I say anyhow. Instead, they react with slander, lies, mockery, and scorn.
You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink. Or in this case: You can drag an idiot to wisdom, but you cannot make him think.
However, I am part of this world. So when the traitors, idiots, goblins, cowards, and scum of the Earth turns it into an open sewer, a menagerie of lunatics, beasts, and deranged clowns, it affects me as well. There is no escape for anyone. You can run from the lunatics, but the asylum is everywhere. You can close your eyes to the world, but the MADNESS still sees YOU.
I am not powerless in relation to my own little microcosm, though. My family. My property. My choice of entertainment. My choice of food. My choice of clothing. The little things. My TIME.
I am still in control of that....
Although I cannot escape this global asylum, and I understand that the doors are locked from the outside, I can keep up hope and persevere. Because nothing is static. Even their madness is fleeting. Their hatred will consume them in the end.
