I played NV back when it came out and finished it, remained a fond memory ever since. Installed Viva Las Vegas few days ago, played it for a couple of hours. Stopped due to atrocious dialogue, characters (are those even characters? average bloatfly is more interesting) and location design. Goodsprings, bland as it is, dwarfs most of the ramshackle crap you find afterwards. But the dialogue, the voice acting... had to turn off Black Mountain Radio after few minutes due to some retard growling in flat cadence, and I do not mean the character he was trying to depict. Every single fucking character is a nonentity defined by its job. Hurr I quarry rocks. Hurr my dynamite. Hey Gecko skinner that's me. Jesus shit. Gonna go back to VtMB to cleanse my palette.
