I would unironically join Mormonism if they banned circumcision, allowed coffee, and got rid of the magic underwear.

But, like all religions, Mormonism is a women-worshipping idolatry that seeks to mentally castrate men into cattle that are more productive for advanced society. It’s necessary. I understand why it’s done. I just wish I was one of the lucky ones whose foreskin was spared.

I don’t know how anyone with an IQ above 90 genuinely buys into this shit, but I definitely see why smart people propagate it for society-building purposes. Utah is nice. Mormonism seems to be an effective religion for preventing anarchist behavior among low-IQ proles. Society can’t function unless you can convince your average retard brick layer to be existentially afraid of the consequences for stealing, murder, and arson.

>After some time a realization dawns upon you that that’s 80% of human population
Yes, it’s called the Banality of Evil. 90% of white parents in the USA chop up their son’s penis (in the name of a religion they do not believe in), and they don’t even stop to consider if this is unusual, let alone morally wrong. This is despite the fact that this was highly unusual among the exact same demographic not even 80 years ago. Most people’s yardstick for truth and good is just whatever is currently trendy with society.

That aside, what you’ll often find among Mormons is they don’t actually care if their religions is true or not. They don’t even really care if it makes sense. Utah is a cool place. They like their friends. They like their family. Coffee isn’t that great anyways. Who cares? Why rock the boat? It’s not like their religion demands they self-flagellate and brand themselves with hot irons? No one ever died from not drinking rum.

This is why they make 18 year old retarded dudes be missionaries. They’ve been slurping the Kool-Aid their whole life, and they don’t yet have the life experience to even think of questioning anything they’ve been told. By the end of their mission work, they’ve usually start to think
>Maybe this is all bullshit
But then their buddies in the Temple hook them up with a sweet job, and they stop caring. They marry the hot cheerleader from highschool and move on with their life.

This sounds similar to Mormonism and the “Latter Day Saints” debacle.
