For me, it's just the repetitiveness of mowing down voteless. It's just a dumb swarm that walks right towards you, then every now and then an overseer throws a grenade at you, and then a fleshmob spawns behind you, then a weakass harvester presents itself you you for the kill. It's the same fucking thing every encounter.
Bugs aren't much better, but at least it's satisfying to blast them apart. Bots are by far the most fun with how you have to move tactically between cover and aim for weak spots.

Hey guys, haven't played since the illuminate first came out, basically. What's a good all-around loadout that can be helpful in a squad but carries its own weight in terms of handling different enemy types for the illuminate? I think all my game knowledge is somewhat out of date.
