It's a common ingredient where I'm from. Tasty in salad or when brined/pickled. It's not something I eat daily though.
There's different breeds around the world, so how its cooked/eaten may vary. But the Turnips where I'm from have a slight sweetness to them.

Mist came off as a normal if not airheaded girl in RF1, but Frontier revealed that she was apparently even more proficient at sucking in runes and supercharging them than literal rune vampires, but she only did so when under distress.
So in the end, what the actual fuck is Mist supposed to be. She's definitely not a normal human at least. They never really followed up on this.

Now that people bring up Frontier again, only now do I remember that Mist is supposed to be some kind of big deal. I don't think she was ever confirmed to be an earthmate, but she's some kind of entity that can supercharge runes and cause mass destruction in the world if left unchecked.
