I don't see how it could be Dess, we already know she got Gaster'd. She's in the game, you can see her, and talk to her, but if that's the case, then she can't be the knight. Not unless Real Kris has parts of her, which he fucking might if he's another Chara expy who wanted to be part monster.

We already have bits and pieces going by her wardrobe. Black hair like her dad, 90's grunge aesthetic, military surplus jacket and boots.

The best thing he could do is have Susie shoot her down, thing is he already made another bad lesbian relationship in the form of Alphys and Undyne.
If he wanted this relationship to work or be well written he'd either
A. facilitate the relationship via Noelle trying to interact with her more in hometown and spending time with Kris and Susie
B. show her at least taming her unhealthy obsession with her while getting to know the person
C. give us the attempted relationship and show Noelle crashing and burning horribly.
The worst crime of the potential of this relationship is the fact that it's textbook toxic, just like Undyne and Alphys. Two people with conflicting personalities and interests get together only ends in one of three ways
>They break up
>They become miserable together with one partner dragging the other down
>The lagging partner improves themselves lifting themselves up which may still result in a break up on better terms.
It's a strangely naive perspective of relationships if they get together with no hitch and drags the overall narrative down. Again, if you simply made Noelle a boy, nobody would support this at all.
