Going to give advice like you're a sane human individual that doesn't want to obsess over optimal ways to win in a mobile game, correct me if I'm wrong
You can roll how you like but saving up to 200 pulls (30k carats) is advisable because that's the spark amount, how many you need to spend at which point the game will just let you get the rate up, in case you get very unlucky. It usually takes 2-3 months to save that amount but once you're sitting on it, you can roll a little when you like and know that you can absolutely guarantee something coming up. Super optimal would be only to roll 200 in one go but don't feel like you have to do that
Support cards are good and are what help you train stronger uma, high dupe SRs are better than SSRs with no dupes so focus on them early for levelling up. There's very few high strength SSRs in the first 2 years of this game, kitasan black the current banner being one of them, but the game gives out selectors and dupe materials later on.
Umas, with few exceptions, are very similar in power level so truly just roll for the ones you like and skip the ones you don't. You can train any uma to run any track or length in any style with lineage optimising when you have more experience in the game
Some perks are generalist ones and are usually good, others are very specific and niche. The niche ones make sense because we know in advance what PvP tournament tracks are and they're useful there but you can avoid them otherwise.
The daily missions do list all the daily things to do, energy isn't important enough to spend all of it every day while you're given functionally infinite refills if you do want to play a bunch in one go.
Hope this helped an ojisan out

Pretty much, just so you get an idea as well, Natie's dam ended up living up to 36 years herself which was like, the longest living thoroughbred female ever recorded in Japan. Natie was pretty much around when Oguri Cap raced and all of these other gigantic figures at the time and outlived them, pretty much all of them I think? I'm not sure who even is around of that era that lived this far, I guess Meisho Doto could count but even he was born in 1996, and Natie was 1988 iirc.
