They need to add a custom track maker, there's so many locations in the open world that could easily make for some fun races online.

There's a few things they could do to fix the game:
>200cc to help make intermissions feel faster
>3 laps after every intermission (5 for the SNES tracks and Peach Stadium 1)
>Adding the + Change option to online so people can pick any track
>Adding the missing battle modes from the MK8 (Renegade Roundup, Bob-omb Blast, Shine Thief)
>Custom Knockout Tour using any combination of 6 intermissions
>Custom Track Builder using any location from the open world, even on existing tracks

Also, new characters, costumes, and tracks of course.

(2/2) There are 22 P-Switch missions in free roam that are literally just multi-lap races. Some are obvious like the SNES tribute tracks, but then there are others that are practically new layouts of existing maps (Crown City, Boo Cinema, Cheep Cheep Falls, Big Donut), and some are completely new layouts within the open world.

I'm not saying I want all of these to be in VS Mode, but it does have me thinking that the devs could easily add a custom track mode so that people can create their own layouts with the open world itself. Now THAT right there would make the game worth a damn.

There are 22 P-Switch missions in free roam that are literally just multi-lap races. Some are obvious like the SNES tribute courses, but some are practically new layouts within some of the existing tracks, and others are entirely new tracks unto themselves. They even turned Big Donut into a race track for one of the missions (which makes sense considering how fucking huge it is now).

Needless to say, WHY THE FUCK ISN'T THIS SHIT IN VS MODE?
