>Gamers have had enough, and through this initiative they want to force their will onto these corps to be able to play their game and get the value of their money even when a corp doesn't want them to
>Corps start shitting their pants because the initiative has had the Streisand Effect in full swing and now needs to do damage control
>Corps begin trying to undermine the initiative with false equivalency tactics, obfuscation of intended goals by the initiative, goalpost moving, active disinformation, and flooding with bad-faith actors to try and paint the initiative in a poor manner
>which is feeding into the Streisand Effect even more
>Corps shitting their pants harder
>Corps want to turn this into another Gamergate situation where they can control the narrative
>It's failing miserably
>rinse, repeat
