There is no Western equivalent to this; in fact if there were, it would be like

I was reading earlier today about Operation Mole Cricket
90 Israeli F-15s and F-16s engaged 100 Syrian MiGs
The result was an absurd turkey shoot; 82 to 86 Syrian planes were lost, 0 Israeli planes were lost (two were damaged)

So the Syrians sent guys to do TV and newspaper interviews where they just matter-of-fact state that they won. They easily shot down all the Israeli planes and Israel didn't have an air force anymore. Apparently you can just do that.

What the fuck do you gain from it?
