Valve/Steam by itself isn't disliked but Jesus fucking Christ Deckfags are almost snoy-level of annoying. The constant spam when Deck was even bit relevant was fucking horrid.
Sony is shit and stopped making fun games and focuses only on west. Fanbase is horrid.
Palworld is slop, uses generatice AI, copies mons blatantly along it's artstyle(mixes styles from Pokemon Gen 1 - Gen 8 because AI genned them designs all across the board instead of having steady artstyle evolution) and also has horrid fanbase. Funnily enough the fanbase says how Palworld is better than Pokemon but still tries to push themselves into Pokemon circles nonstop.

People are desperate to feel useful on the internet. Same reason you have people trying to "save western civilization" on /v/ by shitposting and calling others trannies/shills/commies etc.
The fact they are "fighting the enemy" tricks their brains to think they are doing something useful.
Nothing makes elite happier. People arguing online without getting anything done. Only SKG has been something useful and you STILL get people argue against it because of commie-boogeyman. People are brainwashed to think that they "know the truth" while being fed lies and spreading them. Nothing is as hard to convince than someone who thinks they found the truth.
Same reason why Twittertards complain about fictional character ages and some porn about them. They want to think they are fighting a good fight because actually defending real sexual abuse victims, especially minor ones, is fucking scary and hard and depressing.
